In loving memory of Cobb Children's Theatre. 1970 - 2012

Dearest Cobb Children's Theatre Family,

My heart was heavy in making the decision to close the curtains, March 20th, 2012 for the last time. I have spent the majority of my life with CCT. The younger years performing during the management under my parents. The adult years were spent continuing the legacy.
You should know I leave here the purest of my hopes as a builder of dreams.  For over 30yrs Cobb Children's Theatre has been privilege to serve our community in unique ways and we have been blessed with the support of our community in return. Cobb Children's Theatre created a community that brought strangers together, who became long lasting
friends. We were the venue for imagination soaring large and small. Friends were made here and lives were changed. Our lives became richer and fuller.
Theatre truly has a positive lasting impact on the future of our children. I take a quote from Pastor Krautsworth at my mothers memorial service, "If Cobb Children's Theatre has touched you in any way,  GIVE BACK". This is the most important message I have.  Support the arts by attending a play, donate your time,  or become an angel with financial
support.
I take pride in the many kind comments sent my way on behalf of the great work performed by groups of true professionals that I have had the privilege to work with throughout the years.  I'm proud to call these colleagues my friends and I thank God for the opportunities he gave me. Although Cobb Children's Theatre is closing its doors my door is always open, so lets always keep in touch.
I truly believe that life is measured by the relationships we make. So I thank everyone for enriching my life during this part of my journey with all of you.
At this moment I remember many things: I feel that I have fulfilled the part of my duty that tied me to Cobb Children's Theatre, and I say farewell to you. Reviewing my  life, I know I have worked with integrity and dedication to the craft.

My warmest appreciation with applause and a standing ovation.

Once a part of the circle ALWAYS A PART OF THE CIRCLE,

 Sincerely Ryan Karstensen
